Thumbs up MRC Motorsports review

This will be the start of a long summer project but I recently acquired a bunch of things from MRC based on the promos they were running in the classified vendor forum. Julian was very helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I got everything I needed for this project.

Everything was packed very well and arrived on time and Julian provided tracking numbers without even having to ask. When I received everything there were some of the UTEC accessories missing from the box but Julian shipped them the same day when I told him they were missing, no questions asked. Excellent service.

My project goals are 550 rwhp.

This is what I've got so far and feel free to make any recommendations that might help me out.

Greddy TT w/ intercooler
Greddy Type RS BOV
TXS UTEC
TXS 4 BAR MAP sensor
TXS Boost Controller Solenoid
TXS Oil Catch can
RC650CC Injectors
CJM Return Fuel System
Walbro 255lph pump
Koyo Slim Radiator

Coming Soon:
Built shortblock
Exedy Twin Carbon
AAM 3" downpipes
Custom 3.5" single exhuast.

-Tony

Hah, shouldn't be a problem. Install is happening in my garage but I want UpRev to tune it but I don't know if they will touch the UTEC. If not them I will have SGP tune it.

I dont think they will do the utec since they do custom reflash/tuning (not sure though). Have you thought about ditching the utec and having them custom tune your car since they are local?

Well the UTEC has the ability to control boost and have specific fuel maps based on boost level so I am sticking with it. I don't want to run a separate boost controller.

You should let SGP handle the tuning, very experienced staff.

Hah, I was going to tell you. Thats why I asked if you were going to the Saturday night meet. I actually didn't make it out myself cause of a St. Patty's day celebration.

You are more than welcome to help with the install, it should be a pretty fun time. I am not starting until I have everything though so hopefully around the middle of the summer depending on how many raises I get.

I tell you it is difficult to let a TT kit just sit in the garage though.

Most likely I'll have my car back this weekend so I can make an appearance. Keep in touch. Get that bad boy in ASAP so we can cruise around and make some video clips of the cars in action.
