What is the max boost on stock internals...
naa...no disasters here...im not retarded ive had two turbod cars before...evo 8 and turbo rsx-s....im just wondering this cars limits stock i noticed george pushed his car to over 500whp stock...but thats an exception...im just wondering if the average stock internals will handle 420+rwhp with good tune and proper fuel
been in 463 whp for around 1 1/2 years (25,000 miles) with my Greddy TT running 8psi all the time with 93 gas... only tune, technosquare reflash... but again thats my car, I don't know that is a avg. for F/I VQ35DE

these posts by the thread starter sound exactly like the posts the previous owner of my car made. Needless to say I bought car with a blown engine due to too much boost. It's back and running though and just running low boost for now.
I was just wondering, also at what point does the stock 6spd tranny gives up?
Clutch is definitely a must otherwise you see slippage, but I've heard a few stories about people having problems with their stock trannies while stil being NA.
Can anyone chime in on the power they can see?
ps: I need a refresher on the tranny code.. might help in my search. Thanks.

Short update in this tread I manage to achieved 12 psi on stock internals When I measured car on dyno with boost 0.6 bar I had 453hp and 600nm with 0.8 Bar I think I should have 500+
I have 2004 with Greddy tt kit

Correct me if I'm wrong but as a general rule it's 350whp for DE, 400 for revup, and 450 for the HR. That's staying on the very safe side boost wise. I'm sure they can all handle more but I'd rather have medium reliable power than insane power that likes to eat engines for dinner. All just my .02 though.
