On Sunday April 1, 2007, SHEZHOT was driven to Winter Haven, Florida where Nick (N-Tech Engineering) will be installing a twin turbo system.
I will say that this project has taken many turns. Nick injured his back last year at this time and had surgery later in the year. This postponed the installation a weebit!!
I am only slightly nervous about my baby being under the knife. I wonder what she'll run like and can't wait for the first update (I'll be working all week that will keep my mind busy).
I will keep you all informed as I get updates. I asked Nick to take some pictures too. I think the worst part is being so far away and not having time off to visit my baby while she's going through all this!!
I already had the APS tallboy plenum installed since last October (won it at ZFest). I don't know the "real" gains, as I did not dyno the car with this on it. I can say it added a nice bit of torque and power. I also had a pop charger on the car which will be removed for the TT. Other than that I have no plans for any more engine mods.
The welded Borla presented a challenge and Nick said I've been a bit rough in going over places as there are a few minor dings underneath that shouldn't be there...I hate low driveways and such.

I made the trek to Winter Haven to see Nick and the progress on the turbo installation. (April 21, 2007)
The biggest part of the job was taking the Power Enterprise system off of Nick's bonified race car, re-engineering the system to fit my car, and then pulling my engine.
The turbo's are sitting on the floor in the photos, fuel rails are in the bucket. Nick will now install the engine managment system while awaiting my SPEC clutch. Then he will install that, the turbo's, and have the car tuned in Tampa.
I am very pleased with the progress as Nick has assured me that all is going according to plan. I will more than likely meet him in Tampa on the tuning day.

I can't wait to see the progress in the next few days. [
