I guess the better question to ask is... could the limited flow on high boost contribute to this particular issue? If yes, then we have to question why Dave would allow warranty on this setup(knowing that it will have risk). If no, then we should just drop the whole warranty talk.

Its always something. I never understood why shops would say "x person drove the car hard" well what do you buy a Turbo system for to drive the car like you are driving miss daisy come on guys. Really?

Well then...the warranty would have to state that it only cover issues dealing with "limited flow".....and I have read the entire think....and no where does it say that..... I just want to understand this warranty...not just for the OP...

I have a friend with...well someone that lives a few houses down from me..he has this new Lambo and had a twin turbo installed on it. Full warranty for 1 year on a 1100hp monster. Two weeks and something went wrong big time...I saw the oil in his driveway.....he just got the car back...one new turbo and motor work and not a dime out of his pocket.

Thats what I expect from a warranty.

So the challenge is that..

If a customer comes in with an engine that has no oil, should the warranty still cover it? Obviously no?

vs.

Did the engine really have no oil? I believe this is the bigger argument here.

From what the OP and his friends said to me....they told Dave about a fuel leak and a QT of oil had to be added per day. That tells me that something was wrong from the start. If someone said that he never check the oil and he dropped it off at Dave's in that condition....well..OP SOL......But this was an issue along with the fuel leak from the start.....So IMO...(which means little) thats why I am mentioning the warranty.

The OP is not pushing the issue....I just want to get an understanding of what and how things are covered with this warranty....As you can see...members are saying this warranty is BS....and only a gimmick to attrack customers......

Same question to you that I asked Romey
