Has anyone considered filling up the vortech 1/3 full of light weight oil similar to the ATI and plugging the nozzle holes in order to reduce temps?
I would think that if you changed the oil frequesntly there would be no issues with doing so. The only problem I could see would be that the stock kit doesn't have the headunit mounted level if I am not mistaken and it could possibly leak out one of the seals. I could be wrong though.

conclusion, looks like everything i need is there EXCEPT a vacuum hose. I guess its not included in the tuner kit?
Also, got a extra part: 7U032-020 hose, 3/8" id pwrstr Looks like its for a 2006. Hope i was sent the correct kit.
where should i buy my vacuum hose?

There should be no issues with the gearset holding up to it. The main concern would be the seals. I may just try it for a while with the volute and impeller off (so it doesn't get ruined if the bearing let go) running NA just to see if the bearing hold up and the seals hold. Worst case scenario is that I ruin the bearings and then I have to rebuild it.

i need to get a vaccuum line for my bypass valve. seems its not included in the tuner kit. Any suggestions? I dont know if its 5/32 id or od. Jeremy suggested fuel line.
Would a hardware store have it? Advance auto parts?

1/4? manual says 5/32. 5/32 is a tight fit. Is that id or od?
another question, the utec map sensor provides a tiny hose, do i need a reducer to tap it to the vacuum line? What kind of footage is really needed for the bypass valve's vacuum line? manual says 7' but thats quite a bit to reach from front of the plenum to the bypass valve.
i install in two weeks! trying to get everything in order.
