Default water/meth and FCon

I am ready to take the plunge on an injection kit, but wondering about a few things...

For you FCon tuners out there... Most of the name brand kits (I am looking at the Snow Performance) have the ability to trip a 12 volt switched source if something is not working right on the injection kit (out of fluid, short, pump failure, etc). Can the FCon switch maps based on this trigger?

For example... I have a few buddies with Supras running this setup with an AEM. The injection kit trips a 12 volt source when it is activated and that tells the ECU to run that map. If the injection kit does not activate the relay then the AEM runs the defualt map which is a safe mode map.

I am looking to do something similar to this with the FCon and not have to buy the Navigator to do it. Otherwise Snow Performance has a boost limiter sel. tha can be used to avoid engine damage.

Any other thoughts on this would be great! I plan to run the greddy kit to 22psi with this setup on pump gas and injection. I am running 16psi now and starting to see some knock on just 93 octane.

I am a newbie at this but have been reading the manuals over and over as I setup my car and the answer should be yes but I think with a 5 volt signal.

The FCON can trigger a water meth system, and shift to a submap when this occurs. It needs to be programmed, but it is definately doable.

hehe....the guy who made 492whp on our dyno did 540whp on the dynojet. I have no doubt you are very close to 600whp on the DJ. Doesnt anyone need more than that for a street car??

I run low boost on the street! But on a serious note, I have plans on putting this car into the 10's and with the limited tire choices I have using a BBK I think the only other way to do it is with lots of extra HP...

I have been talking to the local Supra guys here in Indy and they swear by methanol injection over race gas for a street car. There is a guy here that is running 800whp daily driven with pump gas and injection. I don't see any reason why we cant to this on a Z as well. Its not like I am going to run it at these power levels any place other than the track...
