Default Normal valvetrain noise ???

Just wondering what is considered normal valve train noise cause im getting the car together and ready to take in for a tune and wanna make sure it is 100 %. The valvetrain noise seems louder than I remember since i just recently got the car back on the road. There is no loud ticking just mechanical noise coming from both valve covers, It can be heard faintly from the interior with windows up and radio off, but not with the windows down and driving around. There is no check engine lights and the car builds boost fine. I'm sure this is prob normal but just wanna make sure before I make the long trip to Shariff for the tune. Thanks Dave

Valvetrain noise is tricky. Big valves, big cams, HD springs, all will make more noise. Most engines will pick up a little more valvetrain noise as they age.

What has been done to your heads...modification wise?

And BTW...I said to get your car 1000% ready....not 100%...LOL.

The heads have JWT S1 cams, JWT HD springs, and a P & P. Ok good to hear that noise is normal just been almost 8 months since I last drove it and did'nt remember. My bad I forgot that extra zero on the end, don't worry it will be perfect and headache free for ya.
