Looks like a nice shop but for your sake, I hope they have a lot of experience with FI G/Zs.

from what I hear from the local people with APS TT's, thats where they get theirs tuned @ and have had great experiences.

So basically, is my best best to get the tuner kit + utec for now? Do you think I can run that on stock block with the stock fuel system/injectors etc? I can upgrade those later right?

No, you'll right away need a new fuel system, CJ's, AAM's or APS'. Figure the most expensive right now is APS Extreme Fuel at around $1950 street price which includes the injectors and the others a little less.

oh really i need a upgraded fuel system to run even low boost 380ish rwhp? Not what I was told... :0/ I forgot injectors are necessary my bad. so CJM Stage 2 + 550cc or 650cc injectors would do the trick + UTEC + Tuner kit?

I'm not sure about that but the CJM and UTEC would be a good setup.

not sure about which part? What size CC injector would be good to support ~400RWHP and maybe 500-600 in the future. I know the 440cc that comes with the standard aps only supports 400rwhp...

im struggling to find a decently priced APS tuner kit :P I almost had one at ~5500 shipped. Around what should I expect to pay for one? Maybe im being unrealistic.

By the way, I appreciate all the help!

I'd go with at least a 650, since there isn't much of a price difference. I'm sure Phunk (Charles/CJM) could chime in or someone else.

Hmm hopefully i can find a place that sells all this stuff! Perhaps Forged

I have a quick question, I may be able to get the standard kit for 6500. If it is true, should I jump on it or steer clear.

APS holds their price to MSRP. Finding a nonauthorized dealer selling the kit below MSRP is not comparable. The price is the price. Too high, a bit high doesn't apply. You need to buy the kit from an authorized dealer such as MRC, GRD, Z1, etc. If you think the 7995 is to high for the twins, you need to look into another brand because IMO you're being unrealistic

Not according to APS' website

The shops that I see talked about on the boards that are authorized are the following:
GT Motorsports
Car V2
Japtrix
Z1 Motorsports
GRD
Injected Performance
MRC
MZM Internations
SGP Racing

different can of worms with the greddy.

Greddy is definitely a capable kit, but you need BOV, fuel system, FMIC, EMS, boost control in addtion to the base kit. I think sharif offers a package deal on a complete greddy setup.

That said, I prefer the APS setup to the greddy. APS has watercooled ball bearing turbos and retains the front impact beam. The greddy has bigger turbos which will equate to more mass air flow (more power potential), but for you at this point, that doesn't mean much.

If you are comparing the greddy to the APS, make sure you are comparing apples to apples; factoring in all the additons you need to the base greddy kit to compare to the standard APS setup

This would also be an option correct, the tuner kit + the extreme fuel system? That would basically be an extreme kit though wouldnt it...?
