cats = FTL... remove those and put in some nice 3" downpipes... also, do you have headwork? cams? if not, that sounds about right with cats and 2.5" exhaust... what are your torque numbers? i'll wager they're much higher than your hp numbers...

OK get some 2.5-3.0 down pipes and at least some 2.75in -3.00in exhaust.

It's not entirely the cats. I have 417whp at 8psi with metalic highflow cats, APS 2.5" exhaust, 5/16 spacer, RPS flywheel and APS TT. Of course, I am on a stock block, so the higher compression helps out, but even with cats, that seems a little low.

If you do not already have them (and you insist on running cats -- like me), you might want to try switching to a metal substrate cat... they will flow MUCH better than the ceramic cores.

Hell no!
That does not sound right.
Sorry bro but your tuner sucks. Post the dyno chart so we can see that rollorcoaster. You should be tapping at 500hp @ that PSI.

I have heard of others making a lot more than me with the same set up, I just wanted to touch 500rwhp without a loud exhuast note, and where I live I have to run a cat....

Cats or no cats that is way to low..
Demand a retune or send it to a real VQ tuner.

My car did 410 on Sharif dyno and 450 on a Dyno jet stock block, and with little PE turbos. So built motor with bigger turbos, and more boost... I am sure you can figure it out.

I can't remember where you are in Canada but I'd drive down to Sound Performance in the Chicago area and have them tune it. They specialize in the AEM ems.

what gear was it dyno'd in?
what EMS was tuned?

I have their AEM and it has not worked all that great for me, it has some issues with cold start and ilde that are some what better, but they tell me that I need to got a cable throttle body to fix it perfect.

I would like to scrap the EMS and get sharif up here and do a HKS for me...

+1. Clem how far is SP from you? Just suck up the cost and send it to them especially since you got the AEM from them. I know it sucks considering you've already spent a ton of $, but believe me I tell you from experience, it will be cheaper to just send them your car then to have your current shop trying to fix it. I don't want to jump to conclusions cause there may be something wrong with your car, but if there's nothing wrong your tuner has no clue what he is doing. His name wouldn't happen to be manuel? j/k
