Thanks!! I think it is really coming together. I am hoping to have the car done by the end of next week.

This paddle shifter kit has been out in Japan for a while, and thanks to a local volunteer here in Socal (thanks Abe!) who so graciously let us R&D on his car, we were able to successfully test and install the Works Bell paddle shifter kit.

But enough about that, check out the pics:

So clean, you'd swear that it was straight from the factory!

1) No cutting or splicing necessary! It is a truly bolt-on kit, and is the same as installing a hub / quick release. Only (1) wire needs to be tapped for power (remote/ignition). Everything necessary is included, as well as disabling the air bag light, retaining horn, etc. We recommend professional installation, but if you can install a radio in your car you can install this kit.

2) F1 Style Shifting! Out of the box, the Z comes with an awesome engine, transmission, and handling...but its missing something to rival that of the "ultimate driving machine." This kit is the missing piece that Nissan SHOULD have made standard.

3) Works Bell Z33 Short Hub Included! This kit comes with the paddle shifter, as well as the short hub to bolt onto the car. All you need is a 6 bolt steering wheel (Momo / Sparco / Nardi / Personal) and you're ready to roll!

This kit was successfully installed on an AUTOMATIC Z ('06 Roadster Enthusiast) with no issues.

So yes, sadly that means for you 5 speed guys, you're outta luck unfortunately

(3) Paddle Shifter / Hub Kits In Stock! Will fit only automatic Z

Contact me to order! We also stock the most Nardi / Personal wheels, and can work out an entire package deal!

$620 shipped

5 speed guys are out of luck? All auto Z's were 5 speed I thought

So with the new wheel you lose cruise control...anyone know if you can reposition the controls somehow to retain it?

That was a typo - I saw that thread - was hoping someone had a solution for the stock wheel. No way I'm giving up all the electronics and the air bag just for paddle shifters...

I dont really care about the air bag, more the cruise control since I drive from Moscow Idaho to Seattle 3-4 times a month LOL

If there was a way to use the stock wheel that would be cool too.

Thanks!

It was dyno tested to 690 ft lbs torque. I believe SGP feels it will hold +/-800whp.

Perhaps it's possible to use the new G35 paddle shifters or modify it in a way to use with earlier models. Not sure.

Great numbers Ron!! I want a ride at nationals later this year.

Our Z will definitely be going FI - twins most likely. Waiting on 07 HR options and saving up the money for the install. Maybe by spring of next year.

Here is a couple of pics from this weekend of my new Z after we put the wheels on:

DAMNNN!! Your car looks amazing, the paint came out perfect along with the body work! Who did you body work??

Also Ron where did you get that badass carbon fiber front lip that looks ****!!
Both cars looks amazing!

Will that paddle shifter work on a G and will it work with the stock steering wheel?

rAizE2K: (1) yes and (2) no - answered above.

Just need someone clever to add BMW SMG shifters onto the stock wheel... One of these days... when I have a car again lol
