Rick don't deal with customers but directly at shop owners. When aarantes' car hydro locked STS (Rick) was on the phone right away with Forge to find out what happened. I think everyone that had conversation with Rick that he is a fair guy (Sorry Julian ) and always ready to answer questions and fast to respond. I have informed STS about the Missing parts on the kit that they ship, I hope this thing will be fixed.
I know some more things that happened in your case but I'll leave it at that. I assume that your car is up and running now, so have a good time and enjoy every minute of it. Hope you understand all the risk that come with FI engine though. I'm pretty sure that if you went to a real performance shop like MRC, Forged, PF...etc that your ordeal would've been much shorter. They won't even give you the car if it is running funny so there are less chance of damaging any parts. JIMHO.

This defect caused over a thousand dollars of damage to my ride. Rick might be a fair guy when it comes to lip service but STS and Rick did absolutely NOTHING when it came time to fix my car. I paid all costs.
How would you suggest I or the authorized STS installer check for defective electronic parts prior to them being installed?
I went to what I assumed was a real performance shop. STS sent me to PCSC and I would think STS would ensure that all their authorized dealer/installers were qualified to do the work needed on whatever STS system someone bought. I knew I did not possess the tools or knowledge to do the install.
You again state you Know more things that happened in my case, BUT as I have said before " unless you have factual information you only know what you've been told by someone else".
Factual: pertaining to facts; real
Fact: a truth known by actual experience or observation
Were you present or included in any of my issues with STS?
I was present and possess audio, video, electronic and hardcopy proof of this entire fiasco.

This is going to be my last response.
EDIT:
I have more harsh response to you but I'm not going to waste my time anymore. I'll just put you on my Ignore List.
My Only friendly advice to everyone (I think this is common KNOWLEDGE but apparently it is not in RamairZ's case) that ONLY Go to a shop that KNOWS your car. If you are putting any FI then go to a shop that specialize on FI and our cars. I think all the extra expense had been avoided if the shop actually know what they are doing. End of Story.

They also said the excess fuel the system was dumping into my engine would cause cats to be damaged, they are. These items would not need replacing, at my expense, if system had not failed.

how hard can the sts really be to install really? I havent ever installed one but wouldnt hesitate doing it myself, then drive to a good tuner to get tuned.
ramairZ anytime you modify a car you take that chance of something failing/or causing something to fail. It sucks when it happens but all you can do is suck it up. It's like a broken record ok Yes we know your not happy w/the sts kit

I did my install with a deep socket set, full set of wrenches, one or two allen wrenches, channel locks, and a soldering gun.
If you can manage those tools, you should be able to install the kit. I would go so far to say that said, any mistake in the install is rediculous.

What did you use the soldering gun for? I figured the wiring was plug/play, unless you had to find a power source for the UTEC...

I have another question for you guys. I know the STS comes with UTEC but I am extremely interested in using Cipher for an EMS. After talking to Jared, he disclosed that the MAF has to be mounted infront of the turbo like the JWT setup.
My main question is, how the hell would I go about accomplishing that when the MAF is in the engine bay? Would it be as simple as extending the wiring to the rear of the car?
