Professional,

How is the Revup PCV system different from the standard 287? My Revup has all the same parts and locations as the regular VQ35DE. The PCV is located in the screwed into the top of the passenger side valve cover and connects to the intake manifold. there is a crossover tube that connects the 2 valve covers together, and the back of the driver side valve cover has the breather port, which is conencted to the intake tube via a rubber hose.

BTW, Does STS have online instruction manuals?
No online manuals, and trust me I was pissed yesterday when I couldn't get any answers.

The reveup valve cover on my car does not have the same location to mount the housing.

the PS cooler can be moved. My Revup G had a 2-piece bracket. I ended up using one of the brackets and relocated the PS cooler up into the passenger side fender well for my TN ST install. When I went with the Greddy Twins, I moved the PS cooler back to its normal spot.

just wanted to let everybody know that when I turned the duty cycle up on the turbo (I've since backed it down a little due to boost spikes between shifts on the auto) with the AVC-R I was able to fully spool up by 3500-3550 rpms in 4th gear. That beats the 4000 that most of us started out experiencing

What RPM did you started the Pull?

I still have my stock CAT and maybe it is the colder weather but I hit 8psi at around 3400rpm on a 5th gear pull (I have a 6mt) and starting my pull around 2500rpm with just the Utec BCS. I think with a Test Pipe and a good EBC then I hope I can get some better result.

Edit:

I just looked at my logs and I started the Pull at 2800rpm and hit 8psi at 3200rpm.

I like it

Lag was my only concern (and it wasn't that big of a deal) but it seems the kit is able to make power earlier with a few modifications.

yeah about 8 psi. And I could deffinitely do better. That was on a pull where the turbo hadn't really been heated up yet. If I did a few back to back pulls I could probably get it down to 3200

the main thing with the EBC though is the spool characteristics of 1st and second are completely different

I was thinking too (just thinking) maybe the difference comes because of the TQ converter on my auto. When I punch the gas the RPM's immediately "slip" up to wherever the stall is set where as when you punch the gas it starts from the rpm your at. Just a thought.
