Ionno but I might blow my stock tranny on it

They say they won't guarantee ANYTHING past 10 psi...

Where'd you hear this from?

Edit: Oh I just remembered why I came here... will the Nismo exhaust fit at the end? Will the exhaust manifold supplied bolt up to the Nismo exhaust piping?

I'm thinking of getting the Nismo exhaust and selling the muffler...

Is this kit really worth it potential-wise? I have a big fat heavy FX35 with AWD and 5AT losses. My goal is to break 400 whp and wtq, which will require alot more than usual at the crank to overcome the losses. Will this kit be able to do it?

Keep in mind, I have a built motor (9.0:1 Arias ED, H-beam, ARP, etc), so my block isn't what's holding me back from the hp/tq goals.

I'm not sure what the efficiency of this turbo is as far as what kind of psi its good till but I'm thinking if you got most of the bolt ons, a good tune (mine could be better), and turned the boost up to 11 or 12psi you should have no problem hitting 400 to the wheels even with the auto.

Assuming you are running a stock block, how long do you estimate your engine will last?

Pricey? Name me a kit that you can get for $5500 with Utec+Map Sensor, spark plugs, injector the size of what STS is giving. Tial BOV and Wastegate are not that cheap either. News flash... TN also out of the box is around 360-380 with 8-9PSI, STS is making 350-360 with only 7.5 PSI and stock exhaust and with CAT.

you can get a TN (G35 ver.) Kit for 5000 complete but with a reflash and 380 injector.

Same as any other kit out there... boost is boost and there is nothing different with Rear-Mount Turbo.

STS turbo is an AWSOME deal. No flash is as good as a nice tune on UTEC also. Many people run turbonetics with the base flash but the flash is 'too conservative' and may not be right for everyone. UTEC alone is 1000 bucks, the tial blow off valve and EWG is also around 500 bucks. STS turbo kit is a great deal..

Can someone take a picture of where the 3/8" hose goes from the 1 psi switch please? A line comes off the the drivers side of the PCV valve and goes into the switch. The outlet of the switch goes.....???????

The install manual leaves that part out...

It's FI your engine will go sooner or later... How long it will last depends on a number or things but mainly tune.

As for how long it will last I am getting mine done at the end of august and I drive about 100 miles a day so I will keep you updated.

I think running at 7.5 psi the engine will be good for a lot longer than most kits on the market

You might be cruising along, 2200 rpm on a hot, semi-humid day and feel like having a little fun and get up to maybe 3400 rpm (which is probably when your turbo starts spoolin anyways) and POP! Completely unexpected time

Good luck, and I hope you have a backup plan.

Now as for the kit, how hard do you think it would be to customize this into a TT setup? Maybe get a Borla exhaust and throw another turbo on that beeyotch?

I don't know I'm new to FI you know.

I think when you're just cruisin alon and "pop" goes the engine is the product of prior abuse. You could say the straw the blew your engines block

While that is generally the case, no one really has a way of knowing exactly when their engine started to break down. The time it happens is just when it finally failed, but prior abuse or just too much for the engine to handle can slowly deteriorate and blow an engine. Tauran ran a Turbonetics kit on his Stock block for a good two years and it finally ended up blowing up. Like Cube said, I hope you do have the money to build your engine. I would never ever go FI before saving enough to build an engine in case of failure (which appears to be inevitable for our engines)

Gotta call tomorrow and see if they have any plans to offer a "tuner" kit with out the UTEC or fueling parts.
