Official STS Rear Mount Turbo Discussion Thread
2005 g35 coupe 6mt
right now it's got a z tube, k&n drop in filter, hks exhaust, mrev2, 1/2" plenum spacer, bc racing coilovers, and hotchkis sways.

STS says it's going to take 7-14 days for my shop to receive my kit. Z car garage in SJ will be doing all the work. i'm so excited!

So Z Car Garage is now a Dealer or you just purchased it and have them installed it... I've been busy at work that I forgot your SN..lol
yeah, they're a dealer now. hopefully this kit works out cuz we're both very excited to put it on. and sometimes, actually, i think the z car garage guys are more excited to try this kit than i am. haha
well ill be damned. good numbers.
Incase anyone is wondering what would happen if you ran over a raccoon with the sts kit on....it only rips the f***king front bumper off. The oil pump, oil lines, and turbo were fine.

The only visible damage is to my bumper. I am hoping when I get my car aligned tomorrow no more damage pops up from the suspension. I just now got the right size rims and tires

8 PSI, flywheel, 6 puck clutch, Koni's, Eibachs, Sways, Willwood BBK, Forged Nismo's. (adding APS plenum this week)
I know you spend most of your time on the lower gears so have you though about adding an EBC? This will help you hit full boost on 1st/2nd. Unless you are already hitting 8psi on 1st and traction is already a problem.

I'm running a MBC....works well. I couldn't get a EBC to work right and gave up after 2 weeks of trying and went manual.

Boost is very consistent...Temps high??? I don't run hot with this set up even on long hard track days like Thunderhill. Or, did I miss understand the question
Off topic a bit but about heat with this kit:
I have been running my car hard for the last 2 weeks and I have yet to see my temperatures rise above normal even for NA. My oil temp climbs to 210F in 90-100 degree heat.
