the color is a little darker and more towards purple than the stock db. it is identical to the primary color in the ppg harlequin blue to red paint. basically, the whole car gets painted that color, then harlequin misted flames go on. when you look directly at the panel the flame design will completely disappear, yet reappear a different color on another part of the car. some candy and pearl flames will be layered in there too! should be quite a thing to see, lol.

going through the motor again for upgrading head studs to 1/2" and a few other goodies and now gunna do the hks v-pro too. may be widening the rears by 2" and slapping a set of 325/20/20's on the back with custom made flares. if i do it, i need to decide to do it in the next week or so.
i have a hood very similar to the c-west hood, greddy front lip, nismo rear spoiler, and custom cut outs in the front bumper. all pretty mild, but i think the impact will be pretty jaw dropping with wheels going all black too.

color test spray out. the strip is the harlequin paint.

here is a rendition another forum member did. the color is abit off from the true color and replicating the graphics would be next to impossible, but i am digging the all black wheels and black headlights (which is already done) it should be a pretty simple yet sinister look. with all the pearl in the base color though, it goes all purple under flouresent lights!

it does look somewhat buggy-ish my girlfriend thinks i am kinda retarded for doing that to such a nice car. but friends who have known me for awhile were curious why it took me nearly 4 years to bring it to a bare frame!

Hell yes! Next step - take off the hatch and remove that pesky roof with the sawzall!

I'm sure there's more you could chop off while your at it, like those rear fenders and anything concerning "safety". If you're a puzzy you could then put a roll cage in it.

taurran, you must know me pretty well after the years of being on here, lol. one thing that has bugged me about the Z is the front of the roof bulge, been thinking about chopping about 2" out of it the hatch is actually off now. and yes, a cage is in the works. the rear fenders will prolly get widened for a set of 325/20/ 20's, haha. you managed to hit every aspect of the things i would like to change about the car luckily these cars are like a snap together model and it comes apart like a snap!
