Yep, this is a thread headed for a train wreck.... BS claims of power followed up by a BS dyno sheet and new statements about N20 leaks into the intake stream...

 

Relax guys, lets just assume the dyno was f*cked up and that this guy isn't just trying to put a fast one on us but wanted to see what the Z community thought of this strange event.

Its one thing to say "I saw these results at the dyno-are they possible?" And another to basically say "all you IC sprayer doubters you are wrong this is what happens" BIG difference in how he approached the community, and after the meth disconnection comments and how he was called out on that, the thread took a poop

Ok LOOK I was wrong to say what I did in the post title. Theres OBVIOULSY somethin weird here. Do I know what happened to make those numbers no.

Booger: If you look on snow performances web site they sell a solenoid for the EXACT problem we where experiencing with the kit. Its a $30 part.

As for not saying I unhooked the power sorce for the methanol kit thats my mistake. Thought saying it was disconeccted would be enough.

I'm in NOOOO way trying to pull anything here.

As soon as I get the solenoid installed and take the car back to the dyno, I'm going to have them shut the car off and then spray the IC. Then there will absolutely be NO way for the car to ingest any nitrous.

So all I can say is sorry, not that I need to but I dont want ANYONE on here thinking I'm trying to post false numbers.

And NOOO the sheet is not a PS

 

 

And YES I've seen them publish those numbers. But I highly doubt we'll see them

What I dont get is why you made the title trying to say it was real when even you had doubts. Common sense goes a long ways and it is gonna take more than some cooling to add 100+ hp. I'd say instead of taking your car to VRT's new shop take it to someone who knows what they are doing. It is even worse if whoever was working on your car beleived those #s.

 

This [if possible ] is done by putting timing back in . The W/M adds nothing by it self . In fact , if you dont tune for it you will lose power because the A/F will go up to 1 point richer .

 

Never answered-what dyno was it on? Is it load based or inertia style?

 

Im not certain what parrt you are talking about . But I dont have it and I get no W/M sucking into my intake when its not on .

 

Hey guys, after seeing this post I took my 99 Isuzu Amigo to the shop to see what could be done with the infamous n-tercooler spray bar... Well, I have to admit, I was blown away by the results. I'm now a true believer...
