Just got back fro the track have time slip and video

Track conditions ****ty, Humidity 98% temp 95, drove straight there from MD, no rest with the motor heat soaked

480hp on DD 11.6 123 crappy 1.88 60ft HA! spinning and hitting rev limiter.

the 2 stage kicks ***, When I hook her up and adjust the rev limiter, and better track conditions, I thinK I can get close to 10's at low boost. Mid boost is going to be a bit more easy to get to 10's, and my race map is going to be stupid!

I am now #7 over all in the drag forum and I have an extra 201 hp left in my car. Its going to be nasty come 20th

 

Why didnt you do mid boost?? Track was too ****ty?

 

 

Thats awesome given the motor is still fresh, its your first time on new set-up and the conditions werent that great. Very promising Luie-makes me want to run my car right now!! Spet 21st will be a great day.

 

You keep improving your runs in the lowest HP untill you cannot do any better, then you move up to a higher boost.

There is a lot more to impove at this level, some slicks would've helped, some skinny tires, gutted interior...ect..

 

Luie has it right-improve the most important mod (driver), and when you reach that boost levels potential you crank it up

I cant imagine what your stupid car would do!

 

I highly doubt that will happen. I already know you drive better then me. So it would prove that someone that has 50 - 100 runs will beat a person with 200+ more hp if they have only done 10 runs.

We know traction is an issue for a lot of us running high HP. Only by doing a lot of driving can you learn what your traction issues and shift points are. Berto has a lot more experience driving his car at those power levels. I bet that next time Luie runs he will be much better and able to give Berto more of a run for his money.

I don't mind doing a fun pull for kicks.... but I really don't need to see videos on Utube showing that I am not a great driver. I know this already
I drive my car at my ability and not any harder, that is good enough for me.
Maybe we might meet up again at the track in September... we shall see what the month brings...

11.6 is slow, turn that boost up!!!!!!


see what i mean about being a good driver, you can have all the hp in the world but if you cant put it down effectively then it doesnt matter..

I am going to stick it out in low boost till I get a 1.6 60ft.
On the 21st You'll see me turn up the boost a little. I think we might see the first 6MT Z's in the 10's here very soon. We'll see
Someone figure out the no lift to shift function on the Fcon!

 

too late for that , i ran about 15 10 second passes in my Z with the 6 speed and a horrible slipping RPS clutch... lots of 10.9s and 10.8s at around 130 ish with absolutely no 5th gear!!
