Here are some teaser pics. Sorry no action shots since I was running the video camera in Luie's car;
Here we are getting ready to go the airstrip. Luie had to shed the excess weight of his audio system... If for any reason he forgot it and left it all in Bert's garage I'm calling dibs!

Luie's beast;

Bert's beast;

Stand by for the vids... I'm sure they're almost ready.

OK, I need to apologize for the delay, having issues with 1 of 2 camcorders so Im waiting to sort that out before posting.
I will tell you guys what went down though--->
First off, both of us at 15psi, we never had a clean run. Both of our cars were breaking up, my car was running perfect A/F's and felt like it was pulling timing in 4th but I didnt have my laptop or UTEC cable with me to see what was going on. Gas must suck in MD, cuz me AND Luie had the same issues above our low boost. In our short 2 or 3 runs b4 shutting down I could get ahead a car or so b4 we both encountered issues early in 4th and shut down. Conclusion= nothing we really dont know but I have my ideas on what would happen based off low boost....
Low boost, me at 13psi, him at 12psi, both making 480-490whp on Sharif's dyno. We did 2 pulls, one was from 65mph-130mph I pulled from the start and finished about 3 cars out at the top of my 4th gear.
Second run, 60-65mph in 3rd, same thing I pull out immediately, and proceed to constantly pull to 159mph limiter that I ran into. Luie's car even in 5th wasnt able to stop the pull. Hard to judge car lengths at that speed and distance but it was approx 5-7 cars...
Obviously with power being similar there had to be a reason? I proposed to Luie we switch cars, he agreed. Me now in his car him in mine we ran 3X low boost for low boost. I'm sure Luie will share his thoughts on this, but here is what happened. 60mph to 140mph or so, I would stay right next to him to 130mph, not falling on shifts driving his car like I drive mine. Every run myself in his car wouldnt be further back than my own cars door!! It was CLOSE
Surprisingly on my best run in his car dead even at 115mph, I hit 5th hoping he would fall back on his 4-5 coming up in my car (remember I have the 3.3FD) and right at the top of 4th my car would jump out 1/2 a car, then he would hit 5th and start pulling away. My car is faster up top, and Luie was surprised. For anybody who ever says racing from a roll is easy and all you do is hit the gas and shift you're a moron. I was able to keep his car in boost or at least out of vacuum (not powershifting) and it made all the difference with those big turbos he runs. Thats about it, this morning he began practicing my techniques, and he is already improving-Luie dont share the secrets!!
It was awesome having Luie up my way and I look forward to him coming back September 21st for our track day for 1/4 times and I promise all day time vid next time. Nice having you up Luie, if your ever in MD you have a place to stay

Im not suprised at the out come . The smaller turbo's spool faster in every gear , and the gearing in alberto's car helps also . See if you can get the vids up . Im sure you guys had fun !!!!

Just got home!
First thing. Bert's car is faster than mine in the low boost setting, and I'am sure in my mid boost setting also.
Second
I was also out driven. So you guys might think I dont know how to drive? Wrong! I know I can drive (try putting a stock block 400hp Z in the 11's).
Third
If you think shifting fast and stomping the gas is all you need to do, to go fast in a straight line on a roll, then you guys with 800Hp cars are going to really disapointed when you come across a driver with some game. The skill has been passed on (thanks Bert). Let me tell you there is a lot of things involved on a roll on.
Bert and the boys in MD hooked me up like a King. Thanks so much!!! They made me feel like one of thier own, also good to put faces to screen names.
Both our cars are going to be going thru some small changes so next time we meet our set ups will be diffrent, and I should be a little more polished driving these bigger turbos. These turbos produce big power! however You also need some time driving them to figure them out. They are now way incomparison to my PE set up (those were alot more forgiving).
Anyhow it was a blast to meet up and drive against (to this date) fastest ForgedPerformance Z. Cant wait till the 20th.
Its raining right now here but I just called the track and it dry so I am headed over there. To do some passes with this new set up @ low boost. I have 80 more HP than before so we'll see.
