Default Fueling question for TT

I currently have a built block with Greddy TT's, weisco 8.6:1, eagle H-beams, HKS head gaskets, 1/2" studs, cams, cooling mod, AAM stage I w/ Walbro 255 pump. Looking to get about 650WHP'ish out of it.

The main question is How many people out there are running the walbro pump at 600+WHP levels? If so did you notice any thing dieing out on it.

My Tuner went from the aeromotive 1:1 FPR to the TurboXS FPR. Any one see any issues with the pressure dropping out fairly quickly? Any one have any feed back on either, it was swithced because the diaphram crapped out and they couldnt find a new one.

If the fueling dies out too bad I may end up getting the stage II external pump with the HKS 1000cc injectors. So this leads me to another question. Will the RC clips work with the HKS injectors? Stupid question but I dont know crap about the HKS stuff.

Thanks for any input.

From what I found out, the stock injector clips clip right in to the HKS 1000c injectors. So, you might have to replace the RC clips back to OEM clips.

I will be swapping to RC 550cc injectors and plug and play clips soon. I can give you what I got as soon as figure out what I'm doing, lol.

New HKS 1000cc injectors come with a fresh set of OEM connectors.

In regards to the Walbro...no problems at 600whp+, as long as you are using a 1000cc injector...depending on the dyno. The limits of the Walbro are greater, if you switch to race fuel, since you will have to reduce your engine's fuel requirements and lean out the mixture slightly.

I gots the 650's already. Seth is working some things with the fueling. I should be good but just in case Im sourcing an AAM Stage II external fuel pump.

EDIT: The pump is just in case. I may end up selling it.

Absolutely correct. In terms of shear airflow, the Greddy's will deliver. Whether you have the engine, tuner, and others items to make it happen..that is the question.

Yeah kinda like what doctors are doing for surgery. Out sourcing that crap to India. Never felt comfortable with the idea of some one cutting on me from accross the world.

It may be a good idea though, cars wont bleed out and die... actualy they do :O

If only it were so easy. There are certain things you just HAVE to be present with...in order to map the engine....sound is one of them.

It actually might work, if just doing some no-load touchup....like smoothing out an idle, start up..etc..etc.

Mike how much have they played with your UTEC so far? My car should be tune ready in a couple days. I plan to download and load the 550cc TurboXS map then have that tweaked.
