Default Fi auto owners ? about trans coolers

I now which cooler i want but after reading about so many options(fan cooled versus non fan cooled)i was wondering where you mounted it.With the size of our intercoolers, were did you mount your,s.My front end looks like this so i think if i mounted it on the pass side front air duct i shouldnt need a fan right.Of course i dont have the stillen anymore, its now the greddy twins and no front tag.

I have the HiTek tranny cooler with the 7"fan. HiTek makes one with a bigger fan 9 1/2"... I mounted mine in the rear of the car between the exhaust. If you were to look right under the rear bumper, their it is....

What i was thinking is that if i put behind the pass side opening it should get plenty of airflow and not need a fan.I realize that the twins do get very hot but i still dont think a fan would be required with the air flow i would get with this type of opening.

I got a G35 with the top secret bumper and I put my tranny cooler in the driver side air duct of the bumper. I have one without the fan.

I guess you could put it in the front air duct and go without a fan but I wanted mine hidden. Its just so hot here in Florida I figured a fan would be a necessity. My fan kicks on just about everytime I take it out for a ride.
