IMPO...I dont think it would even fit on the jackshaft with out rubbing on it . It would be about the same diameter as the jackshaft..or close .

Here is the thread where I posted about the 2.87 not fitting and the damage it did to my jackshaft . I later milled the pulley to fit on it......but didnt ever use it...went to the T-trim blower instead .

is this setup for a stock or built engine? I'd actually start to consider an intercooler upgrade with the blower working that hard. IMO I'd leave the stock diameter piping though.
I'd rather run a 34 tooth cog pulley on the rear of the jackshaft with the 2.87 pulley than run the 2.62 pulley by itself. Belt slipping will be minimized with the 34 toothed and 2.87 pulleys compared to using a smaller 2.62 pulley
I wouldn't rev above 6700 rpms either with that setup. Or likewise if you ran the 2.87 pulley by itself, I wouldn't rev past about 7100 rpms
I think Kevinapex was running the 2.62 pulley on a built engine before switching to the SFR TT kit. He was making pretty good power too with his setup. His sig said 480 whp at the time if I remember right
GTM sells both the 34 tooth cog pulley and larger intercooler designed to work with the vortech

Oh, I have been going through more than just the procharger.. If you check the LSD thread I made.. Just spent 4k on a damn diff .. My bad.. I went off cause my blood pressure is still high from that bill.. Its all good you ribbed me.. Just dont be lazy..

If some one got a 2.62 pulley to work . I would love to see a close up pic of it !
Long before Vortech came out with a 34 tooth cog pulley to work on the jackshaft . I had one custom made from a 50mm wide pulley used on a Vette kit . I used it with the 3.12 pulley to equal a 2.87 . If your thinking of using the 2.87...I would go this route instead....more pulley suface to help the serp belt grab better. And the better it grabs....you will not have to have the serp belt so tight...and that will help the bearings in all the pulleys last longer . Including your power steering and alt. pulleys .
If you are interested in upgrading your intercooler , Pm me , I can suggest a very good bar & plate design IC that is far cheaper than what others would use and charge you for it . We are way over charged for most of our mods any way...so finding cheaper....but just as good....mods...is always good .
As far as over reving the blower....lets just say you are never in the 6500 to 7100rpm range long . And it isnt going to hurt the blower or make that much of a difference in the efficiency of the blower in that few rpm's

i have a tial 44mm wastegate after the vortech bov. with the smaller pulley and stock internals i can run higher boost with no added worries about blowing my engine. also have a boost controller. tQ#'s are a little higher

i was always wondering if a wastegate setup would work well with a centrifugal SC, can you post pics please?

Some one has already done the wastegate with elec. boost controler . He said it worked well .
I would just love to see a close up pic of a 2.62 pulley on the jackshaft . I just have a hard time believing it will fit over the part of the jackshaft that sticks out of the bracket .
