I still believe my bearings went out as well, they make the same noise as the other guys video.

What was your turn around time?

Thanks matt for the offer! Ill pm ya.

I am sending it out today. Vortech said turn around time is about 2 weeks

chris -

sorry to hear that your compressor fan is hitting the housing... seems like a lot of them are having this problem recently... it may be a bad batch of blowers... do keep us all posted on your progress, though...

I'm overnighting it to them (hookup on shipping). 1.5 weeks for them to repair and about 3-4 days to receive it back via ups ground (i live in az which is only 1 state over). I guess we'll wait and see...

Wow! This is like an epidemic!! CUxtopher, did you get your Vortech new also?? Mine lasted about 2000 miles before it started scraping metal. Vortech better take a look at what they are doing that is making all of these SC's go bad. Now I am starting to think it's not a coincidence and that a batch of bad SC's got shipped out by Vortech. Luckily for me, GTM is taking care of dealing with Vortech since they installed it on my car.

I told you so! I think it was a bad batch. They better fix our superchargers to be better then they were brand new!

Let us know what they say. That is ridiculous that brand new SC's are going bad like this.
