that is some impressive machinery, but it takes more than top dollar machines to be a real engine builder. anyone can follow a service manual, and assemble an engine with the right tools. That doesn't make someone an "engine builder" though.

It will take a long time for anybody in the mid-a to ever trust this shop again. This shop has done way to much damage to the mid-a and i dont care what mike has said he will do,until we have proof that this shop has changed and finally stands behind it,s work..............nothing will change anybody,s mind on this place.I will say that they brought a real sweet model out to the md track day...................hot as hell.

I love that bold statement that they have never had an engine blow on the dyno. I remember reading that they did when I first joined the forums.

i guess there is a reason why this got posted in the Mid-Atlantic rather than the FI forum. originally

In the past 6 months Ive seen 3-4 threads dissapear, you cant even read or see that the thread had been closed. I wont even get into my experience with Mike/AAM anymore, others have posted enough issues to sway anybody with 1/2 a brain away from them.

I posted my thoughts/story in the Mid-A thread. I'll sum up by saying that anyone new to the board should stay away...

AAM can be compared to VRT in so many ways it's scary. As Alberto said - anyone with half a brain should steer clear.

Sorry to hear that..." We won't even get into events that preceded all of this, but it's safe to say that I have very little faith in your ability to keep my car in one piece. After spending about $35k at your shop for a stock block car that didn't even make it 4000 miles without letting go - I think I've had just about as much of your hospitality that I can stand.

Looking back almost 2 years ago - I showed up at your shop very naive and gullible. For that ignorance, I paid a huge price. However, it's 2 years later and I've plunged head first into this game determined to succeed by my own hands. In some twisted way I owe you thanks. But please make no mistake - I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR SHOP AGAIN NOR WILL MY CAR EVER BE ASSOCIATED WITH YOU OR YOUR PRODUCTS AGAIN.

well, just read a few threads, and it looks like they're the Mid-Atlantic's version of VRT.

Oh it is an more,i had asked mike about trying to get more power out of my stillen stage 4 and he quoted me a price of $3500 bucks.Well i had allready listened to what a ton of other people had said that it was next to impossible to get anymore power out of this kit.
He said with new injectors and getting rid of the fmu and 7th injector and a different fuel pump and tuning i would get quite a bit more power.Yea right as everybody who has tried before and has failed to get more power out of this setup learned it is not possible.
That said as i still like what the stillen kit did i moved on to greddy twins and will not look back or even look to aam for anything at all.

Oh, and now that you have Greddy twins, your username is a bit inconsistent, lol
