only one way to find out...and if not, its certainly no big deal to grind the surrounding fins easily, since aluminum won't put up much of a fight

If you cannot get the bolt out, then drop the oil pan and take it to a machine shop. They can remove the bolt and then install a helicoil for you. You will not have this problem again with the helicoil installed.

I did the exact same thing, the bolt would not come out so we took the oil pan off and did it that way, we then put a helicoil in and it has been good ever since.

CRAP..I made the same mistake! I ordered the -103 and it won't fit the APS pan!! So its a 16MM thread that is the correct size for the APS????

they put in the 16mm and works fine. Wont fit directly and they had to rethread to a bigger and works perfect

You need the F-106 which is 14mm x 1.5 thread pitch.

The APS drain plug that comes with the APS pan is a 14mm. The OEM pan is 12mm. So long as the drain hole in the APS pan has not been stripped you can use the 14 mm Fumoto. If it is stripped, tap the hole out and go with the 16mm Fumoto
