So far so good for me. Only a hand full of oil changes. Have to be very easy with it. I think some people forget that Aluminum is soft, especially when hot.

I got the Fumoto for my setup after reading this thread way back. Mine has some hard scars on it from hitting a few things, but it has help up like a champ and still works fine.

It will go to whomever buys my APS TT setup, yet another added value

Done probably 10 oil changes on mine in the past 6 years and haven't stripped it out. I have no problem with the drain setup, it's doesn't need to be torqued to all hell.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I'm trying to find what size to use for a greddy oil pan. Mine is stripped as well. Would I be okay with a 16mm x 1.5 fumoto drain valve like you guys with the aps kit?

you can if you want but you shouldn't have to go that large. The greddy oil pan thread is 12x1.5. I've been using an oversized 12x1.5 piggyback plug for a while after an oil change shop stripped my drain hole. I have a 14x1.25 fumoto waiting to go on when I freshen up my block.

If you want to go that large because you have it then I wouldn't seen an issue.
