Aside from drivign around a while and rechecking all the belts are still taught, and no leaks. Do i have to wait any certain milage for my Stillen SC to "break in"?? I'm installing tomorrow. And it's gonna be hard to baby it for any length of time. But i don't wanna mess it up, so i'll use a break in period if i have to. Thanks!!
I didn't get any specific "break in" numbers from Stillen....so after the install, I checked the fuel and coolant systems for leaks as they recommended then I put a hundred miles on it, checked the belt tensions and had fun since. Everythings been fine since with no issues. You'll like the torque....

All i did was install it,run it up to operating temp and then shut it off.I then checked everything over(leaks and stuff),then i ran the **** out of it.Never once had a problem with the kit.

I would get the Stage 4 but don't want to push that much HP on the stock block. I know the Stage 4 is better with the bigger injector and such but I feel the stage 3 might be the Max for the stock block under extreme racing conditions. Also don't you need to upgrade the clutch for the Stage 4?
The stillen dosent push that much power,i got a dynopack reading of 340.1rwhp and now that i have the twins i dont believe that one bit.I put the greddy twins on and had it tuned by dave at functiontuned with his heartbreaker dynodynamics dyno and only put down 328rwhp.I am running this thru the stock cat,s and only at 6psi but i can tell you i will kill any stage 4 stillen................cause i had one for a long time.So dont worry about your stock clutch cause it will hold the stillens power.
So it sounds like the 425HP that Stillen claims at the flywheel is closer to 375hp maybe. And this is the Stage 4??? Not good if this is the case..
The Stage 2 must be closer to 325hp than???
Seems like if that is really the case they wouldn't sell any kits for 5K.
I heard they do much better on the HR engines anyway.
