Great, so a small few have srewed it up for the rest of us. People who keep their mouth shut, and don't contribute to childish banter. But the minute we forget and step out of line, BANG, your out of here.

I am glad this policy will be enforced. Unfortunately, so many good threads turn into personal attacks back and forth by the supporters of opposing groups. Usually, the people that start the discussion are respectful to each other....but once the mob enters, then all hell breaks loose.
Also might want to enforce the rule, about non-paying vendors promoting their shop/business, accomplishments, their cars, projects...etc..etc. It is advertising, even if they aren't "selling" something specifically.

I am curious about what the mods consider "calling out" and I think this needs to be more clearly defined. I say this because I am concerned that some people may be afraid to blow the whistle on misconduct, poor quality products, or poor customer service by a vendor/sponsor/shop for fear of being banned. How can someone post their negative experiences without naming names and making an allegation? They can't, IMO. Negative feedback about products, shops, and vendors can be as valuable to the community as the positive feedback.
I support a more positive, civil and friendly F/I section. However, I don't want to see valid/legitimate complaints, concerns, and issues get suppressed just because the accused party (and their supporters) will get offended.

I also share your concerns. If it were not for this website...I would not have been able to separate the good shops from the bad. Now people are going to refrain from posting their bad experiences, which intern will collect more victims! My opinion is that the Mods should not Ban someone for making some silly comment (unless there is an issue with vulgar language) but instead just delete the comments of that poster. I feel that banning that poster with the "Bleeding" comment was too much of a mussel flex.....instead it should just have been removed. I like humor once in a while....not only do i come here to learn what FP, GTM, MRC and PF is doing....I also want to get a few laughs.

yeah... i think as long as everybody keeps the drama on topic and without making stuff up and not posting with no real knowledge. it should be ok...
it besides all the bs, the competitiveness it has created has made some shops excel at what they do more, force them to provide better work to avoid being "called out here", show why its good to post sthe failures that turn to successes they had rather than hiding the skelletons, new products, more competition...... i mean it has its advantages...

that is correct,I dont want to be banned as a result of warning others from selecting a poorly designed product..The second STS complains and whines about it, despite not contributing a dime to this forums operation,I would have been banned.I just dont need the Drama no more..What i have now chosen to do with my vendor ship as a result of the recent activities and actions from the admins, is simply sell stuff. You will no longer see me sharing any information, answering any questions, sharing dyno results, posting customers cars, testing new systems and products, warning customers of potential ficticious products, and fraudulent vendors/shops..Im simply going to sit back, and ***** out parts. Ill probably get banned for this reply in fact..

VRT would have never been outed if this policy was enforced. Originally, the whistleblower that posted it did not have any "substantiation", and it took some vetting and digging by forum members to uncover the fraudelent truth of their operation.

just an idea

I appologize to the supporters for this, but its my way of dealing with the situation. I will abide by the rules and cause no issues. I just have a problem with "HOW" the admins defended a non paying vendor, which was suspect of some wrong doings. The fact that Sharif, myself and Sam, as well as a few others "shock and Awed" them, perhaps was not the best way. Looking back it was immature, but that the way it went down, we cant change that.. I think Sharif should delete that thread and let the information dissapear also. In 2 years we can look back on this.

in some cases i was for the shock and awed method, in some others maybe more civilized would have been best...but as you said its done.
not jsut the drama is over here...but alll positive info also...
