Default oil cooler with TN kit

Just wondering if anyone on here is running one and which one they are running? If so did they have any problems with the intercooler being in the way, ect....?

I've seen people mount the oil cooler in front or even behind the intercooler. There is a company ARC that makes a sweet one not sure of many name brands but do a search and I'm sure you can find some pics.

Yes, there are people running them. I'll probably add one at a later time, but will make a point to leave it out of the path of air passing through the intercooler and radiator. Hot oil running through the oil cooler makes it run hot. I'd rather avoid circulating that air over other cooling components.

+1!!! Get a Earl's oil cooler and have it custom made to fit your application. They come all in different sizes.

Here's a link that came from the DIY, that could help you with some ideas of where to mount and how easy it is to DIY. Great thread IMO.

If you have an aftermarket front clip, some help by adding more room for installation of such items. Along with other factors.

The oil cooler is going to be pushed over when I get home, and there is also going to be the addition of a matching PS cooler on the over side

Hey Tay Tay, is that a custom oil cooler or an off the shelf kit. Also do you have a larger front mount? Car looks good by the way

yes its a custom set-up with a earl's oil cooler. Do a search for oil coolers and you will come across two threads explaining how to create the step up.

No thats the normal TN intercooler.

Thanks

yeah that arc oil cooler is phat, but i think it would be in the way of the intercooler, plus i dont want to spend that much. Dont get me wrong though, if it would fit, and i didnt need so many other things, i would be on it. Smoking deal for that piece.
