If I'm not mistaken the ARC can has 3 hoses. Two that go on the passenger side (PCV valve & intake plenum) and one that goes on the driver side (breather). The passenger side will stay the same. The driver side will go to the Vortech air filter.
*thanks for the help yesterday Andrew...really appreciate it*

yeah I would assume you would route the drivers side hose there.

My situation now:

I did talk to Mark and he was very helpful, but we weren't really able to get anywhere with diagnosing the problem. I had to leave my car at the shop and they're going to call a few contacts at the dealership today. I also brought my service manual on CD to give them later to see if that will help them in figuring it out.

ok... didnt read all the posts but here is how it goes.
the hose from the driver side case basically sucks in air and there is almost no bypass oil that will come out of that. case one is then connected to case 2 and then case 2 is attached to the manifold so all the bypass from both driver and passenger side come out of the passenger PCV valve. so connect one end to that and the other to your manifold. you do not need to splice into your driver side or to the vortech filter, this will generally just circulate air in the case and also might have a slight boost leak.
once again you do not need to connect to the driver side, because that is the inlet were air is drawn in and the passenger side is the discharge.
