Default Vortech 34 T Cog pulley

Anyone installing the 34 T cogger run into a clearance problem with the connector right behind it?

I got mine by the cam sensor . It was hard as hell , but it went by . You probably should take off the jackshaft or loosen up the bracket to get it by .

yes, my revup kit comes with that cog pulley and when i installed it it was rubbing on the connector. so i just loosen the connectors and pried it off some, but even now its almost touching the nut.

It's very close no matter what. Mine is as close as possible without it touching but it doesn't touch.

were talking about how close the pulley is to the pipping. mine at one point, the nut was rubbing on the connector and burned a whole in it. thats when i loosen it and pried it away, but its still so close you could barely slide a sheet of paper between it.Vortech 34 T Cog pulley-car5ed.jpg

I'm referring to the white plastic connector just below the Cam sensor in your pic..Looks like it may rub against it..I have room with both the cam sensor and the piping..

Did you get this issue squared away?

Not yet. It's still sitting in my garage.. Trying to see if any one had an interference with this connector...Looks very very tight clearance...

No interference here but yeah, there isn't much room.

Not yet.. Don't wanna start until I engineered the hell out of it..
By the way what's the easyiest way to swap it out..A power tool needed to remove it. Assume blue loc tite would be advisable..

you can take it off with a closed end wrench, or ratchet, you have to hold the pulley somehow to keep it from turning.

lol I used an oil filter wrench and wrapped the pulley with rags. I used this on the supercharger pulley while it was out of the car.
