ya but I checked the jackshaft and its good so it has to be the idler or s/c. I think the sound is from the s/c and not the idler...

like I said, if the noise go down with the highter RPM...don't worry about your Vortech bearing...

the day it will raise with the RPM... now you will have a problem... as I had...

oh yeah thats right. Thanks. All I need to do is raide my idle so it doesnt sound so bad.

Sounds normal to me....Mine even has the same little "death rattle" when you shut her down as well. My car normally idles at 3 - 400 rpms and at lights I hold her at 900 - 1000 rpms and the noise is not there... I have a 04 non revup motor.

+1 on that being a normal sound
Are you using the stock 3.33 pulley?

smaller pulleys will speed the blower up at all rpms. 900 rpms at idle otherwise might not be enough to kill that noise off without raising the idle or going to a smaller pulley

I was considering going to a 3.12 but what all will I have to do to run it besides the pulley and belt? (stock with vortech)
