Wow!! This is unreal and unacceptable. I feel for you bro. I had mine go bad once so far *knocking on wood* and that was more than enough for me. My G was out of action for 3 weeks. If this happens again, I definintely won't be happy and my just pull the Vortech off and go TT. I am very happy with the way it is running right now and it sounds and feels great but hearing about multiple failures concerns me. I really hope they make this right for you jksstar. GL.

i don't think the vortech really needs to sit at idle before turning off. It's not like a turbo that gets red hot and spins 3x as fast. It cool enough to touch after about a minute of shutting the car off

This makes my very scared about the Vortech kits.

That is a lot of hassle to have to deal with.

Sorry for your troubles!

/\ /\ /\ /\
It was a bearing problem caused by a faulty supplier to Vortech. They had posted to Jeremy at Performance Factory and he, in turn, posted their correction of the problem.

There have been no exceptional failures in the last few weeks. You should be good if you got your kit after the first of the year.

Hey MODS, where is sentry65's 'sticky' on Vortech FAQ's and Jeremy's post about the Vortech fix/warranty extension?

Found it ! ! !

(Can't we we re - 'sticky' this thread?)
