Default Last FI question for a while.

Okay so I installed my vortech S/C a week ago. I noticed that the oil PSI is kind of low at idle. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but should I add a little more oil since it is being shared with the S/C unit now?

Check your dip stick. It should be a little more than the normal, but I don't think it's much

You mean it should read lower right? Cause mine looks like its reading around 15 psi at idle. Just seems kinda low to me.

I meant the oil should be a little more than normal, not the pressure. 15Psi at idle? Hmm, I think I'm reading around 30.
What oil/weight are you using? Any leaks?

Don't add more oil unless you have an aftermarket pan or spacer that adds volume. Just check it and change it a bit more regularly.

I am running about 20 psi of oil pressure at idle right now fully warmed up. When I really get the car hot (run my car through the gears a few times ) I see around 15psi for a little bit. Just check your dipstick and you should be fine.

I'm using Royal Purple 5w30. My Idle seems to be around 700 rpms.

After I'm warmed up, my pressure is around 15 PSI at idle and I idle at 1k. No leaks.
