Default Jerk while shifting!

i have a g35 coupe 2006 A/T with a built engine running vortech s/c

on full throttle when i shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, i get a jerk for 1-2 sec then it goes on normally, this only happens when i shift past 6000 rpm
My tuner checked the A/F its all perfect, he said it might be a MAF spike (running emanage ultimate)

any suggestions?

Could be the transmission? Do you have an upgraded valve body? Those will increase line pressure dramatically under load.

Sounds like something else though by the way you describe it - like a rev limit cut... I think the e-manage can log - see if you can log what is happening to AFR when it happens.

i dont have a valve body upgrade yet, but i dont think its the trans.

it kinda feels like a rev limit cut, but it happens after i shift not before.

ill get log by today and see if there is a AFR problem, but from what my tuner says there isnt any problem with the AFR.

anyways is there a chance that it could be the MAF?

What are you using to measure load (to control fuel injection; sorry not that familiar with emanage)? MAF or MAP? If it's MAF, you may have maxed out it's range (which I think is around 6 psi).

You probably shouldn't jerk it while driving.

when you shift and it pauses, do you feel a "thud" when it engages again?...

If so I would get your tranny checked out.

just going to say that...ems upgrade with a new tune COULD take care of it...but more then likely a tranny issue...almost definately a tranny issue actually
