If you are getting the Full TN kit then it already come with a reflash. I'm always curious how this shop tune the TN Kit without any EMS. Do they keep flashing the ECU to get the right settings? I'm pretty sure those shop just send your ecu to TN and get back the standard TN Flash.

The only person i would trust with a turbo install would be RRmedicX/Randy..
if you look at his engine build thread where he shows pic by pic, detail by detail on how to put your engine(shortblock/heads/geartrain) together and a greddy twin turbo install. you will be amazed at his work and attention to detail. When i get my turbo setup im going with Randy, single or twins. He did my rear pumpkin swap from a base lsd to a vlsd in no time. Best part of all is that i was helping and learning about what we were doing. im pretty sure he can knock out the turbonetics install under 10 hours. Anyways thats just my .02$. i would much rather know what was done and how it was done and see where the potential problems will be with the kit at hand(im certain Randy will point them out).

You are correct, a flash, is a flash, is a flash...but some shops like AAM can provide a custom flash if you are running a modified set up...If I am not mistaken. I'm sure someone from AAm can verify. But as far as Turbonetics is concerned, it is just a single version.

I'm pretty sure you know VTR so do you know how they tune their TN kits? They always advice their client to come back for a tune but I'm curious how they tune the ECU? I know AAM and Techno do have their own version of flash, not sure if they (VTR) keep sending the ECU to them or they have their own way of doing it...

VTR does no tuning to the ecu. they can set you up with a split second box, same one the vortech uses.
