they wouldn't be false advertising
they'll get you 55-60% more power alright....they just don't guarantee that the power will last or that your engine will be 100% healthy from using their kit
their kit might be perfectly fine though - as advertised, their kits carry a warranty. And of course that doesn't include your engine

Yeah, you could fly out to ATI when your engine grenades, and then fly home empty handed after they laugh at you... Or you could just save yourself the trouble and use your plane ticket money to buy a freaking UTEC.

If you turn your own wrenches, then IMO a used Turbonetics + utec + 650 injectors = cheap, easy and safe!

at one point depsite everyone here who's been here awhile, seen a lot of things take place, read a lot of past issues when researching things for their own cars, and even though everyone cautions you, you threw their advice back in their face saying that you believe everything ATI has said (including their info in sport Z magazine - which came from ATI)
so yeah, what IS the point of this thread exactly if you've already been suckered into ATI's marketing and not going to listen to anyone else?

There's a reason ATI has sold fewer kits than any other FI kit out there for the Z
- They usually don't satisfy the people who want to keep things simple and out of the box installed
- They don't satisfy people who stay around 350whp when they could have had a single turbo or stillen and made a lot more low rpm power
- They don't satisfy people who are looking to make a lot of power like 450+whp
- They don't really offer any upgradeable parts or blowers
- They don't have anyone on the forums anymore to represent them or who's in contact with them and offer any news, tech support, answers, or advice
- They have blown up a lot of engines, and ATI has hands-off and uncaring approach to it (engines were popping all the time back in 2003-2004 when lots of people bought the kit. I think they made some slight changes, but it was a band-aid solution)

all i said was what i was looking for, ati was offering. .thats it. .i simply stated that i talked to them and they answered my ?'s pretty thorough. . .i understand everything you people are telling me im not stupid. .all im saying is what they are selling to me is pretty music to my ears. .b4 i buy anything regardless of what everyone is saying i will indeed take into consideration everything that you have told me. . im not looking to beef/or start any fights with any of you. .i understand about the EMS, and other systems. BUT if it is capable that the Z can handle the PRO charger with out using an EMS i'd love to go that way. .
it's like when superblack said i have to tap into my exhaust for an A/F sensor. .when i found a way that i do not have to threw PLX. .im not saying he was wrong .but im working smarter not harder, and it saves the money to be in my pocket not anyone else's. .and the PLX LED gauge works wonder's!!!
If you guys wanna continue to lecture me be my guest i'll listen to w/e anyone says and come up with my own thoughts. .so keep the good information coming i appreciate it. .
