440's start maxing out around 400whp, i'd want some room to play with. 440's 550's and 650's differ in price by $10 at most usually.

check for leaks around the plenum and piping, you could be leaking some air out

I would personally get rid of everything but the SC, buy a duel exhaust, high flow cats, and retune 380cc injector with a flash from technosquare. I had a similar setup with the greddy kit 433rwhp was the outcome so with the vortech you should see 370 plus. I did a search for th UR crank pulley and could not find a SC normal size pulley. The one I had on the Z was underdrive make sure your's isn't.

On the bright side, 300whp still puts you over a stock c5 (non z06) vette. Lol~

There is one problem there.

Another is probably the pulley.

Any graphs yet? What is a "perfect" AFR to you?

i dont understand, do you or do you not have a UTEC?

you cant be tuned with a UTEC if you dont have one. ALso, i think that people vastly overestimate the amount of power and boost one should expect. People get these lofty goals thinking they can just slap on basic kits and get those high HP #'s.

if your timing is too conservative, that will rob lots of hp. 300-320 hp is normal on a out of the box 3.33 full vortech setup.

IMO if the boost is steady and the afr curve and timming maps are good (ie no knock) then there is no need to worry about the install/tune. If you do a compression test and leak down test then you know the motor's health is not in question. If you can post the dyno runs showing the afr so we can see what the curve looks like.

One thing to remember is that dyno #'s are just #'s and can vary greatly from car to car. There are so many factors at play when dynoing a car. A really good way to tell how fast a car is the 1/4 mile track. Trap speed speaks volumes in regards to the amount of power a car puts down.

I think it is the crank pulley, exhaust, and injectors.

I suspect these are the only issues with the car, and engine is probably in fine shape.

My recommendations are in line with everyone elses. Get bigger injectors, go back to the original crank pulley, and buy a true dual exhaust. Retune and call it a day at 350-370 whp!

if he purchased the full vortech kit chances are he is still using the S/S box supplied with the kit. the S/S piggy back ecm has control over the vortech supplied aux fuel pump. if he was to have purchased a u-tech he would have gone with the tuner kit ( i would assume! ). then in turn he would need a return type fuel system, larger injectors (smart thing to do), 255lph intank fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator.

5.5 lbs is low for peak boost. Should be making near 7.5 at redline on a nonrevup.

Need to see a dyno with afr. What did you rev too? Which gear?

Looks like you have the underdrive pulley which makes less boost.

i dont think UR makes a standard crank pulley. as far as i know they are all underdrive! this is what i would do if i were you such as other members have stated. if you are running the out of the box vortech kit ditch the 3.33 pulley, install the 3.12. purchase a true dual exhaust kit (2.5" pipe dia), install your stock crank pulley back on that way there is no question about it. if your hi flow cat's are 2.25" dia get rid of them and purchase 2.5" dia ones. retune with the S/S box. with all of your other mod's your looking at around 380 rwhp on a dyno jet. when i was running the out of the box vortech setup with the 3.12 pulley and the following mod's i listed out for you previously with stock injectors i put down 360 rwhp. after the tune we made 385 rwhp, we just got to the point of maxing out the stock injectors. i did not have headers at the time either. for the 2.87 pulley more extensive supporting mod's will be needed. GOOD LUCK. and bye the way 5.5 lbs of boost is low for that setup. get rid of that crank pulley!!!!!!!!! your underdriving that supercharger.

is it a rev up?
if it is the kit comes with a 3.12 pulley. just jump up to the 2.87. a 3.12 on a rev up is equal to a 3.33 on a non rev up. as a 2.87 on a rev up is equal to a 3.12 on a non rev up. i learned this the hard way!!!!!!
