so the problem of maxing out my fuel injectors could all be due to the fact that my pump is running constantly instead of just when under boost?

its possible, to much head pressure at the injectors rendering them inefficient. injectors cannot open or close properly with to much fuel pressure. you need to get a fuel pressure gage on there and see what the fuel pressure is at the rail, should be around 42 psi base. then 1 psi increase in fuel pressure for every lbs of boost. ie, 9lbs of boost, total fuel pressure increase of 9 psi over 42 psi= 51 psi of fuel pressure at max boost.

I believe the stock fuel pressure is about 52psi give or take a few. When in boost (8psi) with the vortech fuel system my fuel pressure at the rails was around 100psi...That is with the stock injectors..It wasn't very good on the inj's but they were capable of a 11 A/F ratio...To the OP You need to get a better understanding of what exactly your fuel system is and what it's doing...

kind of a sub question to the thread but... to people who started with the 3.33 and moved to the 3.12 did you all have to get it retuned after putting on the 3.12

I know of several people with the stock vortech kit who later went to the 3.12 and just needed a retune. Everything else was fine

im sorry your right, i quoted 10lbs to low on base pressure. the numbers i quoted are also with a return type fuel system which i am running.
