read all my performance parts on my sig PLUS now installed vortech kit....300 whp...please someone tell me what MIGHT be wrong with my car...it has been tuned with utec...no boost lost...supercharger worked perfect....had 253 whp before supercharger intstall and 301 whp after install

 

How much boost? Who tuned? Edit: Please post up Dyno

 

damn, that is pretty low. whats your boost and AFR like? Dyno graph may help. Single exhaust may be bottlenecking things, but I doubt it would cause that big of an issue.

 

UR crank pulley ?

 

i hope that UR crank pulley is a full stock sized pulley?

 

What size is your charger pulley?

 

i was thinking the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!! is it a underdrive pulley? what size serp pulley? what kind of boost are you indicating?

i was hoping with all my NA mods to get at least like 350-360 whp with the 3.33 then getting to around 385 whp later with the 3.12...

what the **** could be wrong

im averaging about 5.5 pounds of boost

lol about which part...the injectors are fine for how it runs right now so a bigger injector wouldnt have gotten me anymore horsepower

i told you would not be happy with the 3.33 pulley. i see most 3.33 pulley vortechs hitting around 320ish whp on a dynojet put that on a dyno dynamics i could see 300ish whp. guess.. like i told you so... you'll now want to get a 2.87 pulley, but now you'll need to get bigger injectors, fuel pump and a retune. should have gone with a tuner kit with utec, injectors and walbro and 2.87 pulley to begin with. but wait.. you said you wanted to start slowly and upgrade more and more and be happy with that...

still i think 300 is low, what gear did they dyno your car? who installed and tuned it?

 

was on a dynojet and ya the point of the thread was more to see why my numbers were so low not what i should have done in the first place...especially with all my NA mods

and supposedly i hear the 2.87 isnt safe on stock internals

 

its safe as long as you have a good tune and proper fuel management.

wouldnt i be fine with 440s? i could prob find some rc 440s for a lot cheaper....and im almost wanting to wait to make sure there isnt something else wrong with my car to make me be getting much less hp than others who are making more power with stock everything

 

i mean i gained 50 whp!!!!!
