Here we go again?

Look at the impeller blades, have any been hitting the sides of the housing?

Take the air filter off and look at the impeller blades. If you see anything that looks like the photo's below....send the supercharger back to Vortech, you need the bearings replaced.

Hopefully it is just the low idle and setting it up to about 1,000 to 1,100rpm will quiet things down.

If you could post a sound track of it we could help to determine if it's in "family"..

Does most everyone with the Vortech kit need to get their ECU flashed to bring the idle up to around 1000 RPM?

u might want to first make sure all the connectors to the pipings are not lose or off... that could explain the drop in rpms or if u cant seem to get into boost.

Thanks for all the input!!!! I think it may be the idle!? Because when the car at 1100 rpm it sounds ok. And I took off the filter and check the blades, they were ok too. MrJax, the damage of the blades just happen in one day or it has been awhile?

I have my idle set around 900 RPM and the noises decreased considerably. Anyone with access to a Consult II can increase the Idle level. My mech at Nissan did it for me
