Oil Cooler Installed... Now Coolant Leak??
Hi, I just installed an oil cooler that I pieced together from Summit Racing (the one you might have seen on other posts). After turning on the car, there are no apparent oil leaks, but I noticed some coolant dripping down from somewhere above the oil filter. Could it be coming from the seal between the sandwich plate and the stock coolant oil cooler?
Any ideas? I didn't have any coolant leak before this...
Thanks,
Aaron

Can't see very well in there, I don't think not having the sandwich plate on tight enough would cause a coolant leak now that I think about it, only oil. Maybe I bumped a hose or something.....
Ok so... I'm under my car on my blackberry lol... Somehow the leak is gone!
Its been idling for 5 min and I haven't done anything but leave it alone for a few hours. When it was leaking there was only a thimble full or so that dripped down before I shut the car off..... This doesn't make sense... im sure its coolant... Where did that coolant come from? The car has been up on jacks for a few days.. very odd.
UPDATE: Still no leak after watching it idle for a long time.. so I put my bumper back on...i dont quite understand. I checked the coolant reservoir to see if it was overflowing but that isnt the case.
input is greatly appreciated.
