Quik update on my ForgedPerformance track tested S1 Short block with S7 cams, NO head work JWT 850 BB's.
I just turned 7000miles on this abused built motor I had built. Since the build I have had 8 track days (1 of them being the VIR Redline Time Attack Victory) and 6 1/4 miles passes and over 140 dyno pulles, and easliy over 100 ventures over the 7K rpm range. This is with cheapo eagle rods and noisey *** Arias extrame pistons. Thats it no head work no over priced stroked motor.
I just got a retune with meth (Alkycontrol//// pm Jkenefic for details) and ditched the lame *** C16 race gas (over priced IMO) and went with a all 93 pump with meth (low boost) and 1/4 tank 93 and 110 VP ($5.50 a gallon) race tune, with good power to 7500K rpm.
These JWT850 I have grown to love, and are just the $#hit to drive at high boost, def a high boost type of turbos. 3rd gear breaks loose with no passengers (low boost), and 3rd gear breaks loose with Joes fat @ss @ 4K in high boost, but goes nice and straight (carbonetics LSD).
The car is alot faster than it was before but still does not scare me I could use another 60hp and 3.3 FD for sure. Till then I have my hands full keeping almost 700ft of torque planted.
PM me if anyone has questions, about my build, and I will lay it down black and white. cost and everything (some folks are touchy about telling what they paid). Also for those that care my new car weight is 3145 with no driver!
Eagletanggreen testing my car so you dont have too!
Joe you dont have freaking chance even with the "secret weapon"
Old dyno on over priced C16

Yesterdays dyno low boost 93 and meth / high boost 1/4 tank 93 and 110 VP
With @ss to 7500K
Enjoy!! See you @ Z days!
Look @ that torque with just pistons, rods , and cams!!!

Dude you need to learn how to read a dyno??
Your reading the trq and where the hp intersects the trq line is where your getting lost kid.
Im verry happy for you Luie, I know you were "happy" with the car before, but now its TRULY what you wanted with the set-up. Its a monster, cant wait to get my bucket back and run em!

Thanks Guys!
Berto You'll be back and running by the time I get back from West Virgina in late April. I have a week and a half to break something.
I think I would like a nice 100 shot for the strip. We'll see how it goes this weekend if I dont break an axle. All out!
