basically, Stillen calls me back today and tells me that they will "hook me up" on a stage 4 upgrade with a custom tune. Im fed up with their bullsh1t, only way Im going to do a stage 4 is if they fcking charge me 500 installed or something, otherwise, Im swapping to another FI system.

sounds like a boost leak unless you are running test pipes/headers or something...

guess you are selling the kit now? Glad i didnt go stillen if it only takes month and a half to lose your interest. Wish you better luck with next setup. Check out a few in person if you can, everyone talks their kits up, but i definetly am in favor of looking into them first hand.

FYI i fixed my boost leak. It was the crappy seal on the upper and lower plenum box. Running almost 7psi all day long!! I guess so far i'm one of the lucky ones with the Stillen kit. No major issues other then questionable customer service.

luck...naaaa

You care enought to call, fight, and aks questions.

I have said it since Jan of 2006. Stillen FTW on a stock block. Sucks for the non rev ups, especially automatics...but the rev-ups dont have the same issues from what I have learned in two years of patiently waiting. This is one issue with the Stillen yes, I have heard just as many for TN, Greddy, Votech, APS (especially), STS , and Nitro.

You have to take these things with a grain of salt. If you drive your car from the factory you wouldnt expect the motor to blow up too right? Well mine did , so there is always a bad apple in a bundle.

lol

If it was a rev-up kit I would of bought it days ago.

BTW, on the Stillen Stage 4 setup they can adjust the fuel/timing at Stillen.

They can adjust the box for 91-100 octane and alter the A/F's using a
wideband 02 setup just like the rest. You're still only going to get so much out of this though but it is adjustable.

You are right as the stage4 box is not locked (but only accesible by stillen)........but it can only be done at stillen. That right there screws anybody out of the close area to stillen on getting the box adjusted and fo what a couple rwhp.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this one seemed to have some of the most useful info I could pick out.

I am picking up a supercharger with a stage 4 kit used. It will be going on a 2003 non -rev
If I have this info figured out, I should run the Stage 4 with a stage 3 pulley so boost stays in the 7lb range so it doesn't run lean.

Running less boost isnt going to keep you from running lean. A proper fuel system and proper tune will keep you from running lean.
