STAGE 3 Update
On the dyno there was audible knock at high RPM's. We noticed the HP would suddenly drop when this occured. Apparently there isnt enough timing retard at high RPM's. All runs were with 91 octane california gas. Boost went from 6.5 on stage 2 and now its at 8 psi. Stillen said they need to swap my gold pulley for a blue or red one that will boost slightly less. Sigh, Stillens idiocy is really starting to bug me. Waiting on their call back basically.
Peak HP was 319.4

Have fun with it, Not bad at all! Your going mod crazy already You should try to take it on a Dynojet dyno or DD since its common use dyno here and get a better comparison, just a thought...

Looks liek you got the 2003 stage 4 pully, according to Stillen. (just got off the phone with them again) He's gonna type me up a table with all the years of Zs and Gs with all the motors and trannys and list the pullies associated with each stage. I'll post it as soon as i get it.

319whp @ Church Automotive is not even 300whp Dynojet. Risking the motor for that kind iof power is silly. Instead of turn down the boost and swap pulleys cant Stillen add fuel into the locked SS box?

The stage 2 SS box runs rich enough to safely add the stage three pully, the only reason it doesn't come with that from the factory is so it'll pass carb still. He ran crappy cause they sent him the stage 4 pully by accident.

My ecu is cutting power when it sensed the pinging.
I just came back from stillen and they swapped the pulley to the correct stage 3 and now im boosting 7.2 from the stage 2 @ 6.4.
Im still having problems with pinging at 5500+ rpms...FCK
I had to make an appointment to have them check out what the hell is going on, I refilled with a different brand 91 octane and its still doing it.
Ive never heard pinging on a car before, basically it sounds like a rattle at a very high rate of speed correct? Uggg... This shows there really is no such thing as a problem free FI option

Maybe you hurt the engine running a stage 4 pulley wit a stage 2 tune.. U should just get a utec and have it tuned.. throw away that box.. IMO..

Yea maybe I should, sigh. Utec voids stillen warranty btw. I just cant see myself investing more money into this kit...lol.
Doubt it has hurt the engine, atleast i hope not

Dont stress, FI is fun but also a headache at times (trial and error) Changing to Utec EMS and get a good tunecould be a night and day difference. I switched to UTEC and cant be any happier...
