I believe by signing the upgrade waiver, you already voided the warranty.

 

soon as you put that stage 3 pulley on it voided your warrenty so ive been told.

Didnt you say you went with the stillen because it was no maintenance?
Not trying to be rude at all, but i think the reason a lot of people hate stillen is it cant be altered or controlled so a great tuner cant make your car any safer. Kinda like getting a volvo, any maintenance and they have you coming back to only them.... so if the service sucks, they still have you by the *****.

 

Sorry to hear man!! Sounds to me like their "custom tune" is gonna be them slipping in a new SS box. I don't know why they bull$hit people so much there. I've noticed they don't ever like to admit when they don't know something, so they give a BS answer, or pass you from person to person. Here's a dumb queston too....have you checked the wire going to your 7th injector?? I had mine pull outta the fuse tap before. Luckily i noticed it before i ever started the car. But since that injector only fires at WOT that could be an issue too.

 

on the old box with a 9 port like mine u can tune the fuel mixture just cant touch the timing retard.... so i can semi tune mine i guess

Hey man i remember when you used to talk to me about getting a stillen.I see you went the other way.

 

Guess i'm one of the lucky ones!! Went stage three today (red pully) no issues, no wierd noises. Enjoyed nice added tourque, hp, and noise for $92.00!!! Prob the only cost effective part of this kit so far!! lol

 

congrats man, looks like Im gonna be tking my kit off soon, FCK STILLEN...O yea do you have a boost gauge? If you are boosting 8 psi your gonna run lean....you want to be in 7-7.2

Yeah, i got turned off by the body work and performance factory talked me out of it. Very hapy with my car, gonna need bigger tires so i can enjoy 1st gear, lol, however short it may be.

 

Ironically my boost and AF gauge came in yesterday. I'm just waiting for the pod for them now I may hook it up in the car and jut lay it on the seat or somthing for the time being so i can see how much PSI i'm running. I will say i have never heard my popcharger whistle so much at low RPM as i do now!! lol

 

Longs story short. After they screwed him and sent him the dangerously small pully instead of the stage three red pully. Then instead of offering to fix the problem, they offered to give him a stage two pully (one step back) and then CHARGE him to "tune" his SS box. They are money hogs! I'm glad i don't actually see the people i talk to on the phone with cause there's a couple of them there that are rocks!! I don't blame him for sayin f'-it! With FI comes the occasional need for technical support. And you don't seem to get much of that outta Stillen untill you start forkin' over bucks!

 

i have a unlocked SS box for sale if he wants to wire it up and get a good tune on it

 

is the 2nd timing map unlocked?

Ouch, If this kit didnt come on my car theres no way i would buy it flat out due to the support they have. wait i mean DONT have
