Default Stainless steel valves

Hey guys im wondering if anyone out here is running Stainless steel valves. Im wondering the pros and cons from these valves? Im getting ready to start a build and was wondering about the bc stainless steel 1mm oversized valves.

Couple of Questions will stock valves work for 500-600whp.
Will the 1mm valve make much differance with FI
Will make more horsepower
Ok just for some info on the set up im Going with 9:1 extream duty pistons
eagle rods
bc stage two camshafts
upgradded valve springs
I ANd I have not made up my mine wether I want L-19 head bolts or standard apr bolts.
This will be a single turbo set up with about 18-22psi or so

I don't think 1mm oversize valve are worth much on these heads. Due to the lack of a real short turn on the intake ports, most of the air is going to overshoot about 1/3 of the intake valve anyway. Plus, to properly fit a 1mm oversize valve in these heads, you should really go with oversized seats. The stock valve diameters take up the whole seat.

VQ heads are pretty stout right out the box. I don't think it's worth the hassle of going oversized. If you wanted to change for the sake of revving higher, then you have a valid argument, but I wouldn't do it unless you plan on going 600+whp.

eagletanggreen is making 700+whp on stock heads except cams. I'm sure there are others. The money is better spent elsewhere.

stainless steel intake valves and inconel exhaust valves are fantastic combo. I was just suggesting to stay with the stock valve diameter due to the stock ort limitations.

additionally, some people have made upwards of 700 whp with stock valves. I don't know what the stock valves are made of, but they are probably some type of black nitrided stainless.

Also, the HR motor uses smaller valves than the DE, for what its worth.
