I'm cool with the Aug. 16th date or tomorrow either one. I am only an hour away so no big deal. I will be there in the morning and if it is canceled I will just drive on up to Fontana. See you guys tomorrow.
The event is still on for tomorrow, everyone should plan to be there around 10AM and no later. If the weather is bad then we will just re-sechdule for another date and we will all head to Fontanna Tomorrow.
Thanks,
Dilsher

Well, everyone's alive.
I think my car was the only near disaster. The nissan oil filter popped off in the middle of a run, coating the entire passenger side in oil. It was quite spectacular on video, but quite depressing for me to watch on review. I counted probably 12-15 seconds from the point oil started coming out to engine turn off. Not sure how much of that time had at least some oil pressure left. There were no noises at all and with my helmet on I was clueless to the problem - I cut the engine only because I heard Dilsher say "fire". Sharif got a new filter on there, put in 5 quarts of oil, and she started right back up. I think the sandwich adapter didn't have enough thread contact with the stock oil filter. The mobil 1 we put on there seemed to have better engagement and it seems solid so far, but I will change that sandwich adapter out to a Greddy this week.
Everyone helped out to clean up my mess and help me keep my chin up - don't think I said thanks to all of them at the time I was so worried about my motor: thanks guys. Looks like the Motul helped save my motor. Going to a dynojet to see if there is a power loss, but the car feels strong.
I was doing well, but that took me out of the running - had to go powerwash to try to clean up the car and especially the brakes. The car veered to the left as the right side brakes were slipping.
Lots of details, videos to follow guys - lots of people just returning today, which reminds me...
EVERYONE WITH PICS, VIDEOS, please PM me so I can send you FTP access to upload. Also please send me your full name if you took pics so you can be credited for the photography.
Feel free to post videos if you know how, but lets give Nissan Sport the opportunity to review the HQ still shots before posting publically.

BIG THANKS to DIL (D350Z10). THIS EVENT WAS THE MOST FUN I'VE HAD IN MY CAR TO DATE!!!
The rest of ZdayZ was fun too, but too scary for me - lol. I had a Z coming right at me partly in my lane coming around a turn, both of us probably going 50 mph with less than a second to react!
Jesus. I went slow the rest of the day...

First off I would like to thank everyone who helped make this happen, Forged Performance, Injected Performance, Raj Dash, and all of the participants. Couldn't have done it without you guys!
I am proud to say that we had a sucessful event, there was a total of 10 cars there and all of us beat the **** out of our cars
. We have many vids and pictures to share (new thread to soon follow).
As for the top dawg, since there were few people there we all just lined up and ran. It was first come first serve! As for the fastest car..... I would Say Raj would be the fastest from 40-120 and myself and Mike (XKR) would be the fastest top end cars. The fastest I was able to get was 145mph and stopped with 800 feet
.
Oh yea a 300zx tt ran with us that was fasttttttttttt as fukkkk!! (details coming)
It was great meeting everybody, I had a great time. Eveyone better be ready for next year!!!

Raj.. this is no time to be humble. Bask in the glory..People at the drag strip laugh at my AT until all they see is my @ss end pulling away from them, then I get the last laugh
You held your own against the MT guys and I for one consider you THE TOP DAWG

Raj's G deff was the top dog from the 40 mph roll! That thing jumped right out in front! And I'm glad the car turned out to be ok!
It was great to meet everyone and put some faces to names. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's cars, especially Mike's (XKR). That thing is hands down the nicest G I have ever seen or been around. Those brakes are freakin out of this world. And as fun as it is going fast, I had more fun STOPPING in his car. It's unreal.
Dill and Raj, big thanks for putting this thing together. Even thought it wasn't a huge turnout, it was still loads of fun.
