As a comparison, mine was 365 uncorrected. Never bothered to see what the corrected number was. So, Rob has the BB700's, and the Cosworth plenum; everything else is more or less the same. Cosworth probably made the biggest difference, considering we were running approx the same boost levels (6.8 on mine, 6.5 on his) I've got the MD spacer and MREV 2, and mine is a revup, whereas his is not.

23 rwhp for the Cosworth is nice! Plus it's all shiny and carbon fibered!
Same boost on different turbo's is the main difference. He has bigger ones which will make more hp at the same boost level.

I'd say 11.3-11.5:1 on a stock motor and 11.5-11.8ish on a built motor.

Each tuner will have their own [reasonable] preference though.

So, yeah, it seems high, and it might very well be high, but there's some sort of method behind it.
Id feel cheated. Dynojets read overinflated as it is, then having a rediculus correction factor added ontop that doesnt even take into account the current climate conditions. All it means is you are competing with more powerful cars. Not cheating anyone but yourself

For what it's worth Robert, I had a tune on the Dyno-Jet then the Dyna-Pack I think I had like 11 hp difference. Conditions were similar. The corrected thing never goes over well with people that dont live over a mile high, I sort of understand, however it's where we live. Wait til you hit Texas and hit up another dyno...
Congrats!

Thanks Sean. Its true those that don't live at elevation don't understand it us that get cheated on HP. Also all car forums are an orgy of idiots. I'm happy and that is all that matters. Maybe if I went to Forged, Performace Factory or other large vendor here it would be different. But I didn't.

wow, i guess you're still in denial.. ok, i think you might hold the world record for a VQ horsepower per psi record by at least 50whp on a stock motor. great job! also, why is your torque so weak for a turbo? just by looking at the numbers i would have guessed high end vortech setup.

I agree 100%, some tuners will even run even richer. When I had my turbonetics kit around 9 psi, my tuner had me around 10.5:1 for an added safety net. 11:1 with the twins, and my motor probably owes a big part of its long life to this. 16k miles boosted hard on a stock block.

12:1 is begging for serious issues on a stock block.

On my built engine, I am running 11.7:1 - 11.9:1.

Yes, I am totally confused? I think a fair warning was given, most people who didn't know that 12:1 was WAY to lean for a stock block would probably appreciate this knowledge, before it was too late.

Also, 487 corrected whp, isn't right, it is just wrong even if you were on top of Mount Everest, it's still wrong with the altitude correction! 398 whp is probably about right on. Enjoy your ride, while you can.

Come on Robert....you are better than that ! You know the rules..."If you post it...they will comment on it". Some will be good and some will be bad, but i have not seen anyone hating on you....not even your buddy Dr Doug Like you said..you are happy with the setup and thats all that matters.

Btw....what up with the A/F in the 12s on your stock motor??

Alright my tuner has tuned hundreds of UTECs. N/A, SC, ST & TT 350Z's. also Evo's, WRX/STi's, and much more in Colorado. I trust him and I'm happy.
