Default Turbo XS rfl BOV question

I was just curious if anyone had to install the washers in the spring... It says to install washers as needed if the car has trouble idling... So did anyone have idle troubles with this BOV? (I dont know yet, since I'm waiting for an adapter kit to install it on my TN kit...)

some stock turbo cars have trouble with idle when they change to an atmospheric bov. shouldnt affect you though. what the washers also do is stiffen the spring to handle more boost. on a stock motor you might want to put one or two in for a real crisp blow off. or dont put any washers in and the blow off will be a little longet and fluttery. experiment and see what you like. just dont put more than 2 in no need on 8-9 psi. the rfl has a great sound enjoy

yeah, I really gotta take some vids! I hope this is consderably louder than my raptor, cuz I can't hear that thing at all (but I'm running a open wastegate too, which doesn't help. Haha) I just put one spacer for now, and I'll see how it runs Monday (when the adater comes in)

I actually had this BOV on my previous car (‘03 WRX) and it is LOUD…like brickyardgreg said, you have to play around with the washers. I had some minor problems with the car stalling with no washers, but it’s a quick fix. Enjoy

Another question I had, did anyone have any issues with the length of the tubing being too short to reach the top of the BOV on the turbo xs rfl? Just curious...

Well, I can't install the BOV due to the incompetence of some particular employees at Rally Sport Direct. I SPECIFICALLY emphasized, and REPEATED, that I needed a turbo xs adapter for a GREDDY flange so I could install this... Somehow I got an adapter for a SUBARU WRX! Wow....

So I FINALLY installed my Turbo XS rfl BOV! The greddy adapter was on back order for a few weeks, but in finally came in. I LOVE IT!!!! It's JUST what I was looking for. Great "WHOOSH!" sound. I took some vids, but there very low quality. It was really windy outside and I didn't wanna run the car too hard, since it was on a small back road in a residential area... I'll take some better vids soon. But I just wanted to post this to give you guys an idea. Lemme know what you think
