Most EGT bungs are a thread in style. You will need to drill and tap a hole in the piping. You got the Defi's right?

Awesome Thread! Thanks for the great pics and sharing all the info. I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I would recommend being proactive and doing that turbo blanket just because the way you might find out it is an issue is by an a/c line rupturing. You should also take this time to wrap your down pipe since it's even bigger then a Turbonetics (not sure if you have any extra room though) and in the same spot. Also firesleeve the a/c lines. I'm no expert but it sucks doing things twice. Anyway good luck and I can't wait to see your numbers!

Yeah. A turbo blanket won't hurt at all. He's right about wrapping and everything up front being easiest. I'm sure it'll be fine without all that though.

Jeff i would still heat wrap any wires or looms around or near the turbo or exhaust. This is just to prevent any problems down the road.....i know you are anxious to fire her up but double check and heat wrap anything near those hot parts.Do not use wire ties near heat as they will melt sooner then later go and get mechanics wire and wire them tight.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head to heat wrap that's around the turbo. however under the car where I used zip ties, the stock wiring was closer to the stock cats and had black zip ties, now its farther away from the piping and has zip ties, hopefully its ok.

I'm not sure if I'm going to mess with it tonight, in one of those, feels like sitting on my *** moods.

I'm going to try and do a hard reset on the utec then reinstall all the software and then try to upload a map again, if not more tech support for me tomorrow =(

spent about 2 hours on it tonight. Most of that time was trying to figure out how the hell to run my EGT/Wideband. sigh...

anywho, car fired up first turn of the key and ran fine, Itwas just a bit...ok well a good bit, rich, it dips slightly at startup but then runs fine. No leaks that I know of *knock on wood*

Still having an issue with the rad cap, its super tight and still rubs slightly. =(
also need to figure out where to mount that overflow tank, waiting for some more pictures from intense.
